Interference

Installation with Nathalie Pozzi, 2012

In Interference, pairs of players play a simple strategic game on millimeter-thin suspended steel walls. The play is complicated by the fact that you must steal pieces from other players' games.

Interference was commissioned by La Gâité Lyrique in Paris. Thanks to curators Lynn Hughes, Heather Kelly, and Cindy Poremba and Gâité director Jérôme Delormas. Thanks also to Caino Design for the wall fabrication and Rebecca Jones-Sterling and Tim Tzetela for design support.
