PLAY is a short film I created with filmmaker David Kaplan. The 18-minute film takes place in a future where the lines between games and reality have become blurred. PLAY unfolds as a series of videogames, nested inside each other like a set of Russian Dolls. I co-wrote the script with David and I had a hand in many aspects of the film, from casting to production design to editing. David Kaplan was the co-creator and director of PLAY. Many thanks to the amazing cast and crew of the project.

PLAY was funded by ITVS as part of Futurestates, a digital film series that explores current issues through speculative fiction. Look for PLAY online soon and as a part of film festivals.
