massively multiplayer event, 2000


The 2000 AIGA Collision conference was about the "collision" between technology and I was asked to design a game that would encourage playful interaction and networking among attendees. Everyone attending the conference received a few words from famous cultural manifestos, and the goal was to collaborate with other players to create new ones and vote on a winner. MANIFESTO was one of my earlier games that explored the modularity of language and player-generated meaning.
